The Eagles Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 is essentially made up of songs from their two post-first greatest hits albums, Hotel California & The Long Run. "Hotel California" is the band's greatest achievement and "New Kid In Town", "The Long Run" and "Life In The Fast Lane" rank up with their best. Two nice surprises are the inclusive of the haunting "The Sad Cafe" and the underrated "After The Thrill Is Gone" which is from One Of These Nights and the only song from their pre Hotel California period. Not quite as essential as their first hits collection as you can do better by buying the above two albums, but the songs are still great.
