Hotel California - Defective ?

I've owned 2 copies of this DVD - both are the DTS versions.
Around 2 miniutes and 2 seconds into "Hotel California" there's
a 'squiggley' sound from the left channel that last for around
2 seconds. I hear it in the DTS mode as well as the stereo mode.
...
A co-worker has the VHS version of this album and doesn't hear
the 'squiggley' sound.
...
Other people who own this DTS album hear the sound, at the same time into the cut,think it's an instrument.
