This is one of the best albums of the Eagles. I judge an album by how well it sounds from beginning to end. In my opinion, I can play this whole album and not be bored with any of the songs. My favorite non-hits from the album are Wasted Time, Victim Of Love and Try And Love Again. By this time, the Eagles ditched the banjos you hear on the first four albums and turned towards using strings. When I'm told a rock group is using an orchestra, I usually shutter, because the result is usually bad. In this case, there's enough guitars to remind people of the Eagles we know and love and a softer side which shows that they as band members were maturing as artists.
