Although the Eagles recorded some great songs, two albums ("Greatest Hits" and "Hotel California") give you most of what the casual fan would need. "Hotel California" seems a greatest hits album unto itself, as every track holds up well. The title track, Life in the Fast Line, Wasted Time, and the Last Resort are all great. The early Led Zepplin albums plus "Hotel California" and "Rumours" basically slammed the door on the 60s, leaving the Beatles and everyone else behind. Rock music had achieved new heights. One of the cornerstones of a great collection. 5-Stars!
