It just keeps getting better!

I discovered this album in 1983. After I grew up and shed virtually all of my 80s music, this one remained. I have been listening to Heaven Up Here for 17 years and it just keeps sounding better. As soon as "Show of Strength" starts I fall into a deep trance. I can't even begin to comprehend how the bunnymen created music as unique and soul biting as this! When the sun goes down and the sky turns to the twilight cover depicted on the album cover, I pop in this CD (Yes, I had it on vinyl first, cassette second, CD third, ??? fourth). The photographer/artist who designed the album cover certainly captured the mood of the music. This is one time where you can judge a book [album] by its cover. Whenever my friends/acquaintances rag on 80s music or the "Lips Like Sugar Band" I sit them down, turn down the lights and play the title track, "Heaven Up Here." One person said, "How come the Doors became a worldwide legend; but the Bunnymen didn't -- their music is comparable on so many levels yet innovative on even more?" This is a question that has no answer. However, this album will still have a cult following long after we are all gone.
PS, Another 80s classic that remains in my collection is Night Music by Tones On Tail. Get it and play the song "Rain." Phenomenal.
