(10/10)This CD has one of the most enigmatic and beautiful collection of songs I have ever come across. Not having listened to much from this band in the past, I had no preconceptions about how it "should" sound. Instead, I just listened in awe to the incredibly haunting vocals and lyrics effortlessly flowing from Ian McColloch ("Rust" is a particlar favorite). I cannot recommend this CD enough. In a collection filled with the likes of Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Lou Reed, this CD not only holds its own, but stands apart as a truly amazing work.
