With the Twilight prologue we are thrust into what is undoubtedly
ElO's Sgt Pepper as well as the last great album they would ever make, over 20 years ago before the desktops and palm pilots and cell phone madness that has overtaken our society Time sang to us about a future that was cold and impersonal, bleak and bereft of warmth, perhaps a prophetic vision of what the future may be like and it is not full of warm fuzzy ETS, Our protagonist is unable to deal with the coldness and impersonalness that technology brings "YOURS TRULY, 2095" and seeks to return "...Remember the good old 1980's,When things were so uncomplicated,I wish I could go back there again,
And everything could be the same."
In short the future, as fantastic as it may be with all the gadgets, will ultimatley be a hellhole if we give up our humanity to be as perfect as machines.
