This album was hard to find because it has been sold out everywhere even though it was just released two days ago. I have been listening to Elliott Smith since the beginning of this year and I love all of his albums.

I've only listened to From a Basement on the Hill for the third time as of now and it has a lot of eerie lyrics (considering this his posthumouos album) like "I couldn't prepare for death more than I already have" or something. Suprising amount of good songs on the first half of the disc and overall, it invokes the same kind of haunting mood that only Either/Or really seems to get me in. There are more instruments instead of pre XO acoustic stuff.
