Well, what can you expect from a generation that grew up taking its musical tastes from MTV, where sadly, over the last ten years, the only program where you could see good videos from technically apt bands was during Beavis and Butthead episodes...
Can humanity go any lower? I don't think so... It all has to be uphill from here...love the scratching at the beginning. Dirty South beat, which is different for Eminem. This track goes into lyrics dissing the US Office of Priesdent Bush and the Senate. This does mention the terrorism, which this is about the world today. Lyrics catchy. (4 out of 5)
6) The Kiss (Skit) - Reminader of the Guerra incident involving Eminem.
7) Soldier - One of the beats that Eminem ever produced, some people didn't like this one. I do feel it has a 2pac flow in there. I don't believe it would have a Dirty South feel, but this track is outstanding talking about being a Gangster and guns. Beat is so Tight. (5 out of 5)
8) Saying Goodbye Hollywood - Pressures of Fame and how he wants to leave it behind and not forced to be trapped. Catchy Hook and I rated this track. (4.5 out of 5)
9) Drips Featuring Obie Trice - Sick track to women, which Obie Trice is featured on the track and does an unbelieve verse, which outshines Eminem only by a little. Eminem does really have a brillant verse. Creepy Hook. (4.5 out of 5)
10) Without Me - Lead single on disses on Chris Kirkpatrick (N'Sync) and Moby (I'm glad he dissed him, as his music isn't good expect for a James Bond track he did). Eminem Produced. (4 out of 5)
11) Paul Rosenberg (Skit) - Nothing much there, expect his manager tells him not to bring his gun.
12) Sing for a Moment - This track is brillant featuring a sample of Aerosmith's "Dream On", not only that he features Steve Perry (The Guitarist of Aerosmith) to do the final instrumental to the song. (5 out of 5)
13) Superman Featuring Dina Rae - I like the second hook but apart from that, this track is Garbage like Cleaning Out My Closet. (2 out of 5)
14) Hailie's Song - The only track that Eminem songs. I thought I wasn't going to like this, but I felt this was one of the best tracks on the album. It shows a Sensitvite side to Eminem as the only lady, he loves is Hailie. Good Jazz/Rock Beat. I felt a little Disapointted by the rap but the singing makes it top marks. (5 out of 5)
15) Steve Berman (skit) - This maybe the final Steve Berman as he is shot dead by Eminem.
16) When The Music Stops Featuring D-12 - This track starts with Bizaree saying things within the business like having Responabilites to kids. This is another track about the price of Fame, as mentioned by Eminem's and Kon Artis's Verses. Bizaree talks about that NWA say "F*** tha Police" and he ended up in jail. I love this track to bits. (4.5 Out of 5)
17) Say What You Say Featuring Doctor Dre - At first I didn't like this track. But i grew into this track because of the beat. It reminds me of Fight Music I Don't know why, but it does to me. I love Dre's Diss to Jeramine Dupri, saying Dre "Mini-Me" and the mini you's are Dupri. It has Timbaland at the end on a telephone call saying they could S*** my d***. (4.5 Out of 5)
18) Til I Collapse Featuring Nate Dogg - This track has a real funky beat produced by Eminem. Nate does a brillant hook and does brillant background vocals, if you could the second time of hook after each verse. Eminem goes about the skills of an MC and saying he rips at their hearts and he feels he ain't going to get the props that he fully deserves. I like the Intro to the track. This track is top. (5 Out of 5)
19) My Dad's Gone Crazy Featuring Hailie Jade - This is Eminem going back to Slim Shady. I thought the best part was the opening part of the second verse, where he is his mum and then says he would do certain things including Gospel and swear all day. Nice adding his Daughter to add the feel of Eminem going crazy. (4.5 Out of 5)
20) Curtains Close (Album Outro) Featuring Ken Kaniff - I had enough of this guy. It's getting old, but the eariler days back on the Slim Shady LP, which Ken character was funny.
This album is top expect for the tracks Cleaning Out My Closet (PLEASE DON'T MAKE IT THE SECOND SINGLE AND THE SAME WITH) and Superman (Don't make this single please Slim)
