With an amazing career full of superb albums, it would be easy to assume that the choice for best album Emmylou Harris ever made would be a difficult one. Surprisingly it's not, because it is clearly "Wrecking Ball."

With typically excellent production by the great Daniel Lanios, a batch of great songs, a stellar band, and of course her glorious voice, Emmylou has crafted an album for the ages. It may be different from anything else she has ever done, but it is not to be missed.
