From thier first hit 'Hold On' to more recent songs like 'Whatever' this cd covers all of En Vogue's bases. I was a mild fan of the group when they were real popular but never bought one of their cd's until this greatest hits package came out. All the great songs are presented here including their duet with Salt-N-Peppa on 'Whatta Man'. The harmonies are tight, the grooves are varried and the girls have plenty of attitude to spare. Listening to the set again I was suprised their different musical styles. 'Free Your Mind' is a hard, rocking song about prejudice, 'Whatever' stips all the extraneous stuff away and lets you focus on their voices and 'Giving Him Something He Can Feel' is almost a cabaret song. I'm sorry they're not still around as I find them much more entertaining than current girl groups like Destiny's Child.

As a bonus the cd includes two remixes. A easy flowing, head bopping version of 'Let it Flow' and a quicker paced, more dance friendly version of their first hit 'Hold On'. However, neither mix is that impressive and feelthe space should've been reserved for a few more singels instead.
