Stunning! I find I get some of the same feeling that Clapton describes in the liner notes the "music is my oldest friend, stuck in the back of my head". He doesn't try to BE Robert Johnson but just remains faithful to the purity of the work. If a complaint be found its in his obvious reverence of the body of work. I can see the smoky roadhouse and smell the beer and ribs. If you like the blues and Clapton at guitar you've got to give it a listen. My feet are tapping now!
