Peace is sweet

It's like the 80's all over again, only better. 'I Saved the World Today' is such a great song. Who knew Annie and Dave would be writing the President's theme song(irony on top of irony)? This music is more than just Pop. It isn't here just to please. The Eurhythmics are one of those phenomenon that, like Steely Dan and ELO, create their own genre.
But they do rock on 'I Want it All' and 'Power to the Meek.' Annie is at her sultry best in 'Beautiful Child.' And 'My True Love' and 'Lifted' are classic soul ballads. This supposedly cool duo puts listeners through an emotional workout. And they just draw us in like moths to a flame.
