The album starts out [bad] because DJ Clue speaks. I don't know about everyone else, but I loathe DJ Clue. He doesn't know when to shut up and let the rappers rap. He has to be in there shouting.... However, after Clue shuts up, the first song isn't to bad.
Fab keeps it going with club hoppin' songs like "Young'n" and "Right Now & Later On." Fab shows he can slow it down for songs like "Trade It All" and "Take You Home." Hell, Fab even dares to get introspective on the tightest song "One Day." If you get this album solely for one song, that is the one song.
Nobody expected Fabolous to come out of the gates with an "Illmatic" classic like Nas dropped in our laps almost a decade ago, but he does show potential. Let's just hope on his next album, he doesn't fall into the sophomore slump like so many other greats have (ex. Nas, Snoop, Jigga)
