After another listen, the album has grown on me.

I'm back with a full review. This album really grew on me and deserves the 4 stars I am now giving it. I like KING FOR A DAY better, but this album (with more guitars) is just as good. It stands out as one of the best albums of 1997, behind Radiohead's OK COMPUTER. FNM's legacy will live on now that they have broken up.
