It's Grown On Me...

When I first got K4AD, F4AL I was disappointed. The best songs were the ones off of Who Cares A Lot?, them being "Digging The Grave"(my favorite on the CD), "The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies", and "Evidence." This was probably 'cause I got this a month or two after Angel Dust, which was a masterpiece. I had high expectations of this album. However, it is not sub-par. I just made a typical mistake. YOU CAN'T EXPECT ANYTHING FROM FAITH NO MORE! Their job was to confound the mind and test the limits of the imagination. K4AD does that. Noisefests like "Ugly In The Morning" or "Cuckoo For Caca" have melodies underneath. They just take time to get used to. Now, I can proudly give this album 4 stars:

All great parts to this well-made album. This album only gets 4 stars from me instead of 5 because of the inaccessiblity and experimental nature of it. But it's fresh, it's great, and it's Faith No More.
