(8/10)
KFAD FFAL is an odd blend of songs from metal, country, jazz, and other genres thrown together in an often hard to listen to playlist. Tracks are as follows:
Get Out - Maybe the worst song on the cd, some good riffs, patton is way off tune and the lyrics are poor.
Ricochet - Pattons melodic vocals and Roddy bottums atmospheric keyboards go wonderfully together which makes for a good straightforward fnm prog-rock song.
Evidence - Amazing eerie groove song, patton's vocals are incredible. One of FNM's best.
The gentle art of making enemies - Patton at his most evil switching tones alot. Good Fast heavy riffs throughout.
Star AD - Nice jazzy track.
Cuckoo for caca - Very dark and violent. Patton rants and raves and screams and chokes. The rhythm section drives the song.
Caralho Voador - Slow romantic song sang in portugese or something, kinda boring.
Ugly in the morning - Another one of my fav's. Like cuckoo for caca, i little more relaxed, patton goes a little insane again. Nice catchy toe tapping rhythm.
Digging the grave - Straightforward FNM heavy rock song. Has no intro. Fast heavy riffs similar to Gentle art of...but not as exciting.
Take this bottle - FNM country song, nice and relaxing tune, nice lyrics.
King for a day - Slow prog-rock song, amazing keyboards, amazing lyrics.
What a day - Another Straightforward rock song, fast catchy chorus.
Last to know - Could also be worst tack on album, slow heavy riffs but its a snoozer.
Just a man - Inspiring humouros song, patton is joined by a church choir.
