King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime

Faith No More at it's heaviest

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
A lot of people might call "King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime" a bad album. I disagree. Sure, it's not exactly as challenging musically as "The Real Thing" or "Angel Dust", but it more than makes up for it intensity and "psychotic tendencies". Listen to two of its' highlights, "The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies" and "Cuckoo For Caca" and you will see what I mean. Despite the lack of keyboards on the album, Trey Spruance proves to be the best guitarist Faith No More ever employed, and that gives the record a big push, particularly in the second half, where killer songs "Take This Bottle" and the closing track "Just A Man" lie.
