A far better album thank you think

Everyone likes to compare sound of Time to the sound of the Rumours era group. That would be like comparing the Green era of Fleetwood Mac to the Rumours lineup and really, it does no good and doesn't make sense otherwise. Time was the dawn of a new (and short) era of Fleetwood Mac with Christine McVie, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Billy Burnette and new additions Bekka Bramlett and Dave Mason.
This is a much better album than blinded Rumours fans will give credit. Bekka Bramlett's writing and vocal talents are quite apparent on Time and she is the feature of this album. My favorite of hers is Winds Of Change. Christine comes through as usual with some rally good tunes, noteably Sooner Or Later. Dave Mason has two tracks, one of which I care for, I Wonder Why.
I was disappointed that Billy Burnette was not on the album that much. Also, look for a very rare Mick song, These Strange Times. Time's main weakness is that the album does not have group cohesiveness. Burnette, Bramlett and Mason do not vocalize or sing on her tracks at all.
Still, I enjoy this album more than I do the bigger sellers like Mirage. Just don't expect it to "sound like Fleetwood Mac" because Time doesn't.
