Dave Grohl's first masterpiece.

Followed by "The Color and the Shape" which is their second masterpiece. Anyway, this is the debut Foo Fighters album and really shows Dave Grohl's all-around talent as the demo for this album was entirely made by him. This albums is full of distinctive songs, from the mellow, playful "Big Me" to the thrash-punk "Wattershed." This album also produced several excellent videos, which has become somewhat of a trademark of the band. This album is a definite stand-out from the bottomless pit of alternative albums and deserves a place in the library of any fan of the genre.
