Foreigner's classic "4"

While Foreigner was popular ever since they released their debut in 1977, 1981's 4 helped expand Foreigner's audience even more. By 1981 two members had left, leaving the group down to four from the original six member lineup. While 1979's Head Games wasn't as strong as Foreigner or Double Vision, with the 1981 release of 4 Foreigner showed that their musicianship and songwriting was at it's best. Containing now less then 3 major radio hits and seven more tracks of equal quality Foreigner 4 is a landmark album. The 3 big hits Juke Box Hero, Waiting for a Girl Like You, and Urgent still get a great deal of airplay on the radio and it's easy to hear why, but the whole album is a treat. From the opener Night Life to Don't Let Go the album never lets up, one great song after another, even if you're just a casual Foreigner fan you should add "4" to your collection, it's just one of those albums that deserves a place in any real rock n roll fans collection.
