G-Unit?

When 50 Cent first dropped Get Rich or Die Trying, it was an instant classic, I wont deny that. It was fresh in terms of rhymin and production. But now 50 Cent and G-Unit are just trying to make as much money as possible, they got lazy on their rhymes as "Beg for Mercy" clearly shows. The real Hunger for More can be heard on Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent's underground mixtapes. Thats when they were good. Thats the only time G-Unit put effort forth, when they were broke, needing to create a buzz, it was sink or swim. Well, I guess they swam as the next "pop trend". In a few years G-Unit will burn out, if they havent already done so, and people like you that bought "Beg for Mercy" will wake up one day and deliver your G-Unit sneakers and shirts to the Salvation Army. Just look at 2Pac and Biggie, they were completely different. And even though they both had their cliques (Outlawz, Junior Mafia) they never tried to market them as G-Unit has their members. They brought their homeboys on their tracks as sidekicks instead of trying to make them all marketable superstars. 50 should never be compared to and never will be 2Pac, no matter how many times he's shot. 50 was an underground phenomenon but turned pop. Check out Life After Death by Biggie or All Eyez on Me by Pac, those are THE albums of our generation, not Beg for Mercy, of God forbid Straight out Of Ca$hville
