This past summer, 50 Cent unleashed a load of mix-tapes onto the streets of hip-hop that many fans quickly swiped up. One of the at least five mix-tapes that was released in the late summer of '02 was this cd titled "God's Plan." On this particular tape, 50 Cent and his G-Unit bretheren spit some lyrics over beats provided by the likes of Sha Money XL and some freestyles over songs like "Deep Cover" and "G'd Up."
The best track on this cd is a track that DJ Green Lantern mixed especially for 50 Cent, which is a track with the late Nororious B.I.G. Biggie spits the first two verses which have never been released until this song, titled "Ni**as." The lyrics from B.I.G. sound like they were recorded back around the time "Ready to Die" came out because Biggie sounds like the hungry emmcee that we all will remember him as. 50 Cent doesn't outshine B.I.G., but he hold his own with one of hip-hop's most loved and respected lyricist.
Overall, i would recommend to anyone to pick up as many different 50 Cent mixtapes as you can find. 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks are three hip-hop artist on the rise and this cd is an excellent example of what G-G-G-G-G-unit will bring to hip-hop.
