First, true confession. My sole motivation for purchasing "Scarecrow" was to get the song "When You Come Back To Me Again." It's an amazing song. And I'd heard "Wrapped Up In You" -- at first I thought it was a catchy little tune, but it's now sucked me in, although I find that I have an urge for a Dr. Pepper immediately after hearing the song (hence my four star rating -- no need to sell out to retail so quickly, Garth!). There seems to be much debate in the reviews posted here as to it's the greatest release ever vs. he's on his way out but hear's what I think: this is the first Garth CD I've owned and now I understand what the fuss is about. The music is melodic, catchy, fun, emotional...it's all there. I could do without "Beer Run" but the rest is great. I hope we have many more "last CDs" from Garth, and in the meantime, I'll make sure I stock up on his earlier releases.
