If you don't like Chris Gaines, get your ears cleaned!

Ok, forget the fact that you may or may not like Garth Brooks. I hapen to like his work very much. Now let's look at Chris Gaines, even if its just a Garth in Gaines' clothing. The range that Garth/Chris shows on this album is so vast, from the sad, slow to the upbeat cant stop moving my feet! I tried this experiment with folks who arent "IN" to Garth or Country. Don't tell them, play the CD and ask what they think. Most of the folks I tried this on kept asking who the different groups were, as if it were a compilation of different artists. Many could not even pick out Garth's voice as lead vocal...this despite making the claim that they ARE Garth's number 1 fan! In closing, all I can say is, I hope that if you're reading this Garth, you'll know that you have one fan who appreciates what you've done for the world of MUSIC! Whether it be Country or Pop! Keep it up!
