I don't listen to country at all, but I saw the TV special where Garth Brooks performed the songs from this disk and I loved the music. Being a rock/pop fan all my life, this is some of the best get down, funky rock I've heard in a long time. There are also some pretty cool love songs. Barvo Garth for taking a chance and playing to us non-country folks!
