great album, great band

don't read excessively long reviews-they're off the point and too personal. For a fan, this is a fabulous milestone of a cataclysmic turnaround in the band's sound...shedding the artsy neoclassical dabbling and brutally making a pop statement during the waning days of punk rock and new wave. It made you wonder what they were doing & would they pull it off. They did, to resounding commercial success. Possibly the best studio album of their early 80's period. Sure, a few spots not everyone will like, but who's perfect. See what naughty Phil does with his hands during "no reply at all!"
