Too soft

Songs on this album show great potential, "11th earl of mar" and "blood on the rooftops" are very good songs, but production-wise nothing is done to beef it up a little. Phil Collins' voice is too soft and lacks a hard edge, which is also not provided by the music, the drums sound soft too. (Compare this "One for the vine" with the three sides live version) Although I like the album, it kinda whines at times ("Your own special way" in particular)
