Oh That STUPID Record Company!

Oh how I have waited and waited for the original cover art of this album to finally see the light of day! It is far superior to the final version released in 1981. The only problem here is the line up of tracks. Instead of utilizing the ORIGINAL line up of songs,the FINAL line up with four replacement tracks was used and the four deleted tunes were kept off. Well,that is not entirely true. One of the tracks "Tears Of The World" somehow found it's way onto one of the other reissues in this series,1976's "33 1/3". Perhaps someday someone will fill me in as to why this occurred? Regardless,this CD and the others all sound amazing in their remastered form. I like the one bonus track they did include: "Save The World(Demo)". I have to say it is more enjoyable than the final version. It's just nice having something extra on these Harrison reissues and heck,they even included the deleted LONG version of "Unconsciousness Rules" which features a longer coda. Bet you didn't notice did ya? I thought that was a nice touch and at the same time wondered if any of the powers that be even noticed? One thing I will NEVER understand is why Warner Brothers or George Harrison allowed the track "Flying Hour" to be taken off this album. DUMB MOVE! It would have easily been another hit single for him. In fact ALL of the deleted tracks should have been included,the non original Harrison tunes dropped and used as flip sides. Anyway,I have been told that there is a George Harrison Anthology in the works and the lost tracks from this album are being saved for that. We shall see. I have faith. :)
