This cd shows Michael's voice stretching to new places..

The devotion on this cd is not completely realized in artistic merit. Michael is obviously dedicated to feeling a number of great songs, some more adaptive to his honey coloured voice than others. At times one wants to hear more variety in the singers approach. "You've Changed" takes on a more darkly pensive suit.The gender reversed lyrics in "My Baby Just Cares for Me",is a rather personal vindication, and tells the listener George is probably just very happy to sing these romantic songs his own plaintive way. The vocals are sensitive and do not really strain to conquer , merely to caress.The voice does stretch to be intimate and honest.I like this cd. Time will tell me how much.
