This is something really special for the Holidays. There is a real Holiday "feel" to this Phil Ramone produced CD and it is not one of those obligatory Christmas albums most artists do. You can almost feel the happiness of sleigh riding and children in mittens making snowmen while listening to this wonderfully orchestrated treasure. Gloria Estefan adds both passion and melancholy to these songs. Estefan turns the venerable "The Chrismas Song" into an upbeat song of love for the season.

All the songs we love are here, but Gloria Estefan somehow manages to give them a fresh interpretation while keeping the familiar sentiment we all long for during the Holiday season. Her rendition of "Let it Snow" feels like a breezy Glenn Miller classic and her own song, "Christmas Through Your Eyes" reminds us of the childhood pleasure of Christmas.
The finest version of "This Christmas" you'll ever hear is on this CD, leaving us with the happy feeling of being together with those we love. From "Silver Bells" to "White Christmas" to "I'll Be Home For Christmas" we are treated to a loving and artistically beautiful Holiday CD. This is the one you'll be playing all the time during the season once you hear it. Take this home for Christmas and give yourself a terrific present.....
