Great but not the Greatest

I am a huge Good Charlotte fan, so obviously I loved this album, but Good Charlotte can do better. Their previous cd "The Young and Hopeless" is way better. 'Predictable' was an okay choice for a first single, and 'I Just Wanna Live' was a very good choice for second. Here's how I think the rest of the songs stack up:

Once Upon A Time: The Battle For Life And Death- As an into, it is alright, but I still think they could've done better.

Chronicles of Life and Death- Not the best choice for a first song, but good all the same. Tales from birth to death and the choices we make.

Walk Away- A Good song, but it doesn't leave a very lasting impression

S.O.S- An Amazing song at first, but gets old after a while, and then gets better again. About how everyone needs help at some point or another.

I Just Wanna Live- One of the best songs on the cd, with its catchy beat, fun lyrics, and high notes. It's about getting away from what is routine and living life the way you want it.

Ghost Of You- Pretty good, but not as catchy as some of GC's other songs. About looking for that long lost lover

Predictable- Not the greatest choice for first single. It tells the tale of Benji and Joel's father and how he's never coming home.

Secrets- Another amazing song, very catchy and has good lyrics. It's about standing up for what you believe in even if it's something you don't usually share with others.

Truth- A slow yet addictive song and one of the best on the cd. I found it very addicting and listened to it over and over again. For a slower song, it is great. I loved it.

World Is Black- The best song on the cd. It's upbeat, catchy, and the lyrics tell about how in this day in age we take what we have for granted and it's all horrible violence.

Mountain- Another song that doesn't leave the most lasting impression, but still a good song all the same.

We Believe- AMAZING song. I loved it. Great. Ten out of ten. Good stuff I tell ya.

It Wasn't Enough- It wasn't enough to get a high rank on my list. This was just an okay song.

In This World- A great song. I loved it. Similar to the story lines of 'The World Is Black'

Falling Away- An add on to "In This World". I found it by accidently leaving my cd player on. It's a great little song and is very catchy. Great end to the cd.

All in all, I say this was a good cd, but GC can do much better.
