Good Charlotte

The Young and Hopeless

Sorry guys, this crow won't caw

I saw Good Charlotte live at a small stinky club in New Jersey way back in 2000. That was also the last time this band still had some credibility. I'll admit to liking the first CD to a fair extent, but sorry, this one doesnt cut it.

However, this CD does get 2 stars because that's how many great songs there are on this CD. "My Bloody Valentine" and "Hold On". Gotta admit they are great tracks admist a load of crap.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, is an admirable stab at celebrities, however, they are celebrities themselves, nice try though.

The title track is an attempt to recover their broken home background. Again, the lyrics are admirable, but it just doesnt sound right coming from them.

Whatever punk was in these guys in the beginning has long left them. This is just more pop crap. Sorry guys, I really miss the days when they were good.
