It would be so easy to verbally destroy this band. I could go on and on, like so many others before me, about how this is the farthest thing from 'punk' as any band could get. I could rant and rave about how lame it is that a band full of guys in their mid-twenties would write songs about how hard it is being a teenager, and how 'I'll never grow up to be just like you.' News flash, idiot: you're already grown up.

The truth is, I really couldn't care less what people listen to. It's so stupid how people will belittle not only a band, but those who like the music as well, simply because they don't like it. Really, why bother?

No, I don't like this band. I think in the vast sea of 'pop-punk', Good Charlotte rates right below a baby screaming in terms of musical entertainment. But my beef is not with the band, it's with Joel Madden, the lead singer and open paedophile. Oooooh...how punk-rock is this? I'm 26 and I've scored 16 year-old teen pop sensation, Hillary Duff. Though it may be legal in some states, that doesn't make it right. Adults should not date children. That's right, if you're 16, you're a child. If you're not old enough to vote, drink, or die for your country.....you're a kid. 18 is the adult age in this country....someone really needs to take a boot to Joel Madden's skull....someone like Duff's father!

Really....who knows what goes on backstage at a Good Charlotte concert. Hmmm....drunk pop-rock stars in their mid-twenties + screaming groupies, average age 16 = .......well, you get the picture.
