I confess, I once was a fan of GC. I thought, "wow, their songs all sound so good!" But the only time when someone could think this is when they see no depth in music. When they assume music is all flat. [...]. Then I saw the depth of music. I was exposed to such bands as Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, The Who, and so forth. I realized that if you hear a song and immediately love it, its probably because its just a 3 power chord pop/punk song. If you find yourself liking a song more and more (possibly one you used to dislike) as you listen to it, it probably has depth to it. Such was the case of my addiction to the bands Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, The Who, Guns N' Roses, THe Doors, and many others.

If you are just looking for some basic mindless music, get GC. If you would like depth in your music, listen to something else. In my opinion, most modern bands lack depth. But GC is obviously the most depth-lacking of them all.
