Heartfelt warmth for loyal Lightfoot Fans

The long awaited release of Lightfoot's latest release was well worth the wait. Though his voice has aged he's adapted his style to fit the song. The strongest cut and most similiar to his earlier days is "I Used To Be A Country Singer". The feel of the road and the accompanying reflections are captured as only Lightfoot can. Other favorites include "Much To My Surprise, On Yonge Street and the title cut Painter Passing Through". This latest release will be appreciated mostly by longtime fans, but is still a fine example of a truly great songwriter.
