I never expected that one day I will find something magnificent that was created in a decade that was a big mess in my opinion ...(especially in the music business)...The 80'S.
I mean Rock'n Roll records (especially the heavy and hard types)..were occupying most of the shelves in each megastore down here in U.K...and every were you go ....you'd find people who are obsessed with the NEW WAVE electronic style..and if not,then as the majority...(POP)!!!

So it was a very noisy decade with the same kind of style...and the most terrible fashion ever.

But some of the artists were clever enough to make out of themselves some icons in the history of music(not because their music was beautiful and famous,but of avoiding anything that might give their music some attention that won't make it lasts for a long time...(such as what was done by The Human League,Prince and others...).

Grace Jones is considered as one of the great artist I'm talking about.She was stylish in her music and herlooks without jumping the limits..which made her music a classic.

I can say that she is one of the few artists who managed to have a combination in their music (which makes it dificullt to define it's genre and gives it a new effect that satisfy most different tastes.)

Nowadays,her music is rarely been followed (although it's still been played in different clubs all over France,Germany and other parts of Europe and also considered as a Reggie type).

Some of the tracks in this album (which I think is the best by her next to "Private life" & "La Vie De Rose" are remixed and re-released.

Her (Libertango) track was one of the tracks that was a big hit in the eighties and my favourite of all time.
The idea of singing French and English in one song with her moaning in this song that gives a strange funny feeling that is more like (feeling sorry for someone).
[note:reminds me of Bolonian night-girls in Paris...standing and sitting in cheap nighclubs waiting for the good-looking or the ugly man who pays!!]

Her music is way too easy to listen and the instruments are simple and are kind of electronic.
It also gives me this possibility to imagine funny things I laugh at sometimes (as I exampled above).

People who admire the night life and music with no specific type...I recommend this.
