Capitol finally did it!

The original version of this CD was terrible. It sounded worse than the vinyl record. I still can't believe that Capitol have the nerve to release it that way. The remastered version is substantially better. Closer to Home again has its full fidelity and sounds better than ever. This is the album that shows Grand Funk at its best. The playing is energetic and tight. The arrangements are excellent, and it really is quite amazing that there are only three band members here.
The remastered CD may need some tone control adjustments. The sound will come through strong and clear though.
