Do you wanna be an american idiot?
Review Score:

(10/10)
I know I do. This album was recorded a decade after GD hit it big with 'Dookie.' 4 years without an album (and 2 years w/o a single), GD comes back with a Bushwhacking rock opera w/ two 9-minute songs. Sweet, eh?
1. American Idiot - Great single. It sux that Bush got another 4 years. This song will be w/ me until Bush gets out of office. [A+]
2. Jesus of Suburbia - Let's just say all 5 parts of this song (Jesus of Suburbia, City of the Damned, I Don't Care, Dearly Beloved, and Tales of Another Broken Home) are great. We'll leave at that. [A+]
3. Holiday - One of the finest songs by GD. [A+++++]
4. Blvd. of Broken Dreams - Good slow-song-w/-powerful-chorus type song. [A+]
5. Are We The Waiting - This song, sorry to say, really sux. [D]
6. St. Jimmy - And a great comeback! [A-]
7. Give Me Novacaine - See "Blvd. of Broken Dreams." [A+]
8. She's A Rebel - The pop-punk anthem of 2004. [A+]
9. Extraordinary Girl - Not bad, but GD can do better. [B-]
10. Letterbomb - Swwweeet song. [A+]
11. Wake Me Up When September Ends - Not bad, but the awesome acoustic stuff and then the stuff that sticks out in a sad song, come on. Throw me a bone. [C+]
12. Homecoming - Not as good as JOS, but the other 9-minute 5-piece (Death of St. Jimmy, East 12th St; Nobody Likes You, Rock & Roll Girlfriend, We're Coming Home Again) is great. [A-]
13. Whatsername - A nice finale. [A-]
So there you have it. Green Day has been rockin' since about 1987, and are still going strong. ROCK ON!!
