To me, "Green Day" is perfect for the "best of" treatment. While "Dookie" and "Insomniac" are good albums, any casual fan should be totally happy with this. It's 21 tracks of hit 90's punk, in chronological order, with 2 new songs. How can you go wrong? Even the tracklist is near perfect. It has almost all of their great songs, including "Longview", "Geek Stink Breath", and "Warning". Of course the big softy "Good Riddance (time of your life)" is on here too. I don't think anything major is missing, besides the first 2 albums. So if you're looking for just one "Green Day" disc in your collection, this will go great between your "Ramones" and "Weezer" cd's.
