International Super Hits starts off with 2 new songs, Maria and Poprocks & Coke, but I'll get to those later. The CD goes in order of their 4 major releases: Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning. The songs off of Dookie are definantly their best. They are the closest to real punk rock, and they are about as cool as it gets. These are Green Day's real claim to fame. Insomniac is not quite as good as Dookie, but the songs they put on ISH, like Brain Stew and Jaded, are awesome and comparable to Dookie. But as you listen to the CD, you realize that their CDs have gotten progressivly worse throughout the years. Nimord still has good stuff, but definantly not as good as the old stuff, and Warning was totally pop for the most part, only a couple real good songs. An Macy's Day Parade should NOT be on a greatest hits by any means. In my opinion, neither should Waiting. The 2 new songs are actually a really good representation of the progression of their music. Maira sounds like their old stuff, while P & C sounds more like something off of Warning. A good Greatest Hits CD for the most part.
