Loud and Obnoxious

If your exposure to Green Day is limited to the mellow, acoustic "Good Riddance" (Time of Your Life), be aware that track is not typical of "Nimrod". This is a loud, obnoxious CD and quite frankly, some of the tracks are nothing more than frantic headbanging music. Yes, I'm aware that most people who buy GD CDs understand that, but for novices who think one good track on a CD must mean there are many others might be disappointed. I'm not saying it's a bad CD; actually it has its moments, but "Good Riddance", the track you always hear, is not what this band is all about, at least on "Nimrod". GD is a punk-rock band, plain and simple. Understand that before you spend your money.
