Pop punk? Who would've guessed?

I am a big fan of street punk and other types of classic or heavy punk (Rancid, The Clash) so I was very surprised when I found myself liking Green Day. I usually can't stand pop punk. That was until I heard of them. Their music is awesome, simple and pure. You can tell just by this cd that they don't make their music for their fans, they do it for energy and to have fun. Some of the songs were a little boring, but most of them were fast and catchy! Out of all the songs, i would have to say that Platypus, Jinx, and King For A Day are my favorites. Any punk fan should own this cd, unless you're a complete nimrod!
