I'm a huge fan of Green Day and I feel that this is when they really hit their peak. This album is chock full of rock classics. Songs like "Worry Rock", "Walking Alone", and "Uptight" are among my all-time favorite Green Day songs. This album is when they really started show a serious dive forward in their music. Before, I think it appeared as if they we're pretty one-dimentional. This album shows that they can do it all. Including their first ballad since the old 'Kerplunk' album.

Also contains their world renound hit "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" as well as others like "Hitchin' A Ride" and "Nice Guys Finish Last"

One of the most energetic songs on the album is track #16 "King For A Day". Billie Joe said he wanted to write an 'oi!' song that drunken college kids could sing along to, but about dressing in drag, and he did just that. When they play this song live, there is just so much energy from the crowd and it's one of the greatest feallings ever, this song is a release of energy.

Then there is the more hardcore styles of "Platypus" that included such lines as "I hope you die", which ironically enough the person whom Billie Joe wrote this song about really did die. The other track is #15 it is called "Take Back" and really shows their roots in the old hardcore punk from the 80's, very interesting although not my cup o' tea.

The rest of the tracks on the album are phenomenal too, I just thought I should share what I thought really stood out from this album.
