More than just Good Riddance. Much, Much More

There is so much more to this album than Good Riddance. Don't be hard on Good Riddance because of its popularity. It was popular for a reason, because it deserved to be. But there is so much more here. For me this is the center of the holy trinity of Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning. Nimrod is where Green Day begins to remove themselves from the oft pessimistic stance taken in Insomniac. Through looking at the past (Scattered) and taken stock of who they are (Worry Rock, Jinx, Walking Alone, Reject, etc.) they are able to move on and appreciate what has come before (Good Riddance) and to face the future (to be addressed in Warning). The difficult and tulmultuous stepping stone between the pessimism of Insomniac and the hope of Warning. Again, I have grown up with Green Day and these albums are my soul. As always I hope you enjoy them too.
