Green Day gone pop!

When I bought this album I was sorely disappointed having once been the biggest Green Day fan in the world. Green Day's older material was punk and never really crossed the boundary into pop. But 'Warning' is the album where Green Day must have been feeling adventurous and decided to step over the line into a whole album of pop/punk. It is disappointing when you have heard some of their greater oldies Nimrod, Dookie, Kerplunk, Insomniac and Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. The style is different and not that of the Green Day once famous for their funky punk albums. Okay so if you liked the singles 'Minority' and 'Warning' then you will like this album as it carries on the same not so artistic style throughout. My advice is, if you like old Green Day avoid 'Warining' like the plague unless you want to feel let down by the once brilliant punk band they were, or, if you liked the single 'Minority' what the hell, you're goning to love it! I have given this album 2stars out of loyalty as an old fan, but between you and me, it is worth no more than 1star. Sorry.
