I thought Green Day would not be able to make a better album than 'Nimrod'- but alas they have. From the first listen this album grabs you with it's melodic hooks. Admittedly, it's a lot less heavier than earlier albums, and whilst not departing completely from the formula that made them huge, 'Warning' is definitely their most progressive and mature work to date. It's hard to pick a favourite song, but 'Castaway', 'Macy's Day Parade' and 'Fashion Victim' are standouts. The live versions of 'Brat' and '86' are a great addition also. Do yourself a favour, get this album, pump up the stereo, and enjoy the magic of Billie Joe & Co.
