wow, where to start where to start. let me just say that green day used to be my favorite band. key words there used to be. my favorite cd of all time is still dookie and i actaully like nimrod too, but warning? no. yes i am one of those people who's going to say that green day became sell-outs with this album. but i have good reason to say that. way back in their dookie days the band was really full of ideas and bursting with originality. now i think the fame got to their heads. not only that though. i hate to say it, but they just got old, seriously they ran out of ideas. and now that they're known throughout the world, they don't need to work so hard at writing good songs, so they can write [junk] and it sells. warning isn't a really good cd because i think that green day just didn't get into it like they did their other cd's. the songs are either boring or dull or repetetive. they don't have any punk energy in them. yes, it hurts me to say it but it's true, green day did sell out.
