Heart: Bad Animals (1987)
Review Score:

(10/10)
1985 was the year that saw Heart as becoming bigger and better when they released their album, "Heart" in June of that same year. In 1987, Heart kept the music going when they released their tenth album, "Bad Animals". The album climbed all the way to the #2 position, but still was heavily favored by the real fans of Heart. I never get tired of this album.
WHO WILL YOU RUN TO
The second single from the album. This song is light rock fused with that of slight pop and it sounds amazing. This is another one Heart's greatest songs. And they make a rather good point: Who will you run to when your love falls down?
ALONE
The first single from the album. The album may have gone to the #2 spot, but this song had gone to the #1 spot, making it Heart's second #1 hit single. I used to be crazy about this song, but I sort of wore it out for myself, but I still find it a great song to listen to. Ann's voice is amazingly powerful and beautiful.
THERE'S THE GIRL
The third single from the album. This is another song that I favor very much because it was written by Nancy Wilson and it was sung by Nancy Wilson. Seems as though that I love all the songs sung by Nancy.
I WANT YOU SO BAD
The fourth & final single from the album. For their fourth single, they could have done a lot better. This one is not amongst the many of their greatest, well, in my opinion, that is.
WAIT FOR AN ANSWER
This is another great song, but I have also worn this out for myself.
BAD ANIMALS
The album's title track. I never went for this song and I still don't approve of it.
YOU AIN'T SO TOUGH
This one should have been a single. I don't know if others would have gone for it, but I certainly love it. The song is just amazing all the way around, with Heart's great harmonies that are given in the chorus.
STRANGERS OF THE HEART
This is, yet, another heart-felt power ballad that I cannot get enough of. Another song that should have been a single.
EASY TARGET
Not bad.
RSVP
Not bad.
I was really impressed with this album and it goes to show you that Heart was nowhere near finished with their career. This album also means that you don't stop buying Heart's music. Buy this album now and you won't regret it.
