Good CD, but not worth five stars

Heather Nova's CD Oyster although, a CD for some times, it's variety is a bit in the lacking. The first song, Walk this world with me is the only real upbeat song on the album, and although songs like Island, and Doubled Up have a unique and catchy quality, I found that the other songs just seemed to fade together into an unoriginal song that I have heard by many artists as the song you merely skip over on an average CD. While I do think that this is a valuable CD to add to your collection, if you want something a bit more up beat, try her newer CD Siren. The songs are happier and more fun. Oyster is a great CD for when you are angry or depressed, but personally, I need a CD with a bit more variety; a CD I can listen to when I am happy or sad.
